The Online Scholastic Sparkler

The Online Scholastic Sparkler will be conducted on chess.com
For scholastic players (as of 2019-20) of all levels.
4 Sections, 4 Round Swiss.
USCF Online Quick Rated.
Does not affect over the board ratings.
Active USCF membership required, provided free for new or expired members, age 19 or below!!

Time Limit: Championship, U1400: G/24 with 5 second increment. Pairings ASAP.
Under 1000, U500: G/15 with 5 second increment.
Entry Fee: $20. Registration closes at 9pm, Friday July 10.
Prizes: Customized trophies will be mailed home to all players with 3 points or higher. A $100 College Scholarship will be awarded to the first-place winner in the Championship Section.

You will receive additional instructions by email regarding how to access the tournament on chess.com. Non-members participate by creating a free account.
Players using chess engine assistance will be flagged by chess.com and may be reported to the USCF Ethics Committee and have their membership revoked.
