Snapdragon Open will be conducted online on lichess.org for adult and scholastic players of all levels. Free USCF membership provided for new or expired  scholastic members.

Format: 5 Round Swiss. USCF Online Standard Rated.
5 Sections: Open, Under 1900, Under 1500, Under 1100, Under 700. For determining sections, the higher of a player’s USCF Over the Board (OTB) Regular rating and their USCF Online Regular rating will be used.
Time Limit: G/40 with 10 second increment.
Entry Fee: $45 before 11:00pm 5/28, $55 after; IM-GM free. Registration closes at 11:00pm, May 28th.
Round Times: Open, U1900, U1500 11:00-1:00-3:00-5:00-7:00.  U1100 & U700 paired ASAP.

Registration: At progresswithchess.org/snapdragon until 11pm, Friday May 28th, $10 late fee after.

Prizes (based on 70): Open: $200-$100, U2100 $ 80. U1900: $160-$80, U1700 80. U1500: $160-$80, U1300 $80. U1100: $150-$80, U1300 $80. U700: $ 120-$60.

Adjusted Prizes (based on 45):
Open:    $130-65, top U2100 $50.
U1900:  $100-50, top U1700 $50.
U1500:  $100-50, top U1300 $50.
U1100:  $100-50, top U900 $50, top U700: $80-$40.

Fair Play: Players must be on Zoom with side angle camera for all games to be eligible to win prizes, except U1100 and U700 face camera ok. Players using chess engine assistance will be flagged by lichess.org, reported to the USCF Ethics Committee and face disciplinary action.
Instructions: emailed to you the day before regarding how to access the tournament on lichess.org, login on Zoom and setup cameras.
