Enrich your child’s summer with our Summer Online Chess Camp!  One end of summer camp remains Aug 16-20!
Students will engage in learning and improving at the intriguing game of chess.  Camps are conducted by the experienced staff of Progress with Chess, provider of after school programs at over 50 Northeast Ohio locations.  Players of all levels, from beginner to advanced, will receive plenty of individual attention in small groups of ten or less, divided by age and skill level.  Activities include a healthy mixture of interactive lessons and supervised open play on Zoom, chesskid.com and lichess.org.

Progress With Chess provides safe and socially distanced online chess camps to enrich your child’s summer! These camps are designed for all skill levels and include a structured and diverse schedule to keep things interesting and fun!

Don’t know how the pieces move? No problem. In fact, it is a great time to learn the amazing game of chess and enjoy its many benefits. Progress With Chess is equipped with seasoned chess instructors from our 50+ after school programs and we specialize in teaching kids the many rules of chess. Your child will learn how the pieces move, check, checkmate, stalemate, captures, promotion, en passant and the beginnings of chess strategy. Everything your child will need to play a legal game of chess!

Ready to advance your knowledge? Strategic play and problem solving skills are highlighted in our higher level chess camp for more seasoned campers. Chess camp is a great way to boost your chess skills and your rating in a short time! Camp includes actual USCF rated tournament play and game analysis so you can learn from your mistakes and improve for the next game. Don’t let your peers pass you by.
