The Tuesday Tussle X
Instructions
Welcome to the Tuesday Tussle X!
Games are scheduled for Tuesdays @ 7PM EDT.
We have divided the players into 6 player sections and paired all rounds and sent each player a crosstable for all 5 rounds. In each round the player with the white pieces should send an invite to their opponent with the G/45; inc 15 time control (see diagram below).
Player contact information was provided week 1 in case either player is unable to play their match in an upcoming week. You must contact your opponent in advance and schedule a time to play your game or be forfeited for that game. Please make sure to save that contact info.
On the Lichess Home Page on the right side click on Play a Friend. It will take you to a menu this is where you will choose the G/45; inc15 (see diagram below). The person playing white clicks the king on the right. It will show you a box to type in your opponent’s username. They should be logged in, get the challenge message and click accept. It will also give you a link to send to their email address. If you need assistance call Mike Joelson at 216-321-7000. After your games please send your result at: https://www.progresswithchess.org/result
If a player does not call, email or text their opponent by 7pm any Tuesday, and is unavailable by 7:15pm Tuesday, the opponent may claim a forfeit win at their discretion.
