Thank you to the 41 players who attended the American Chess Convention on Saturday, July 18th at 10am EST on chess.com. Out of the 41 players, 11 came from out of state. The tournament is rated and full results are available in the American Chess Convention Crosstable. A total of $850 in prizes was paid out by Progress With Chess.
Congrats to Hansen Song of Chagrin Falls (1905 USCF) who once again took 1st place in the Open Section! But he wasn’t alone. Sharath Radhakrishnan of Westlake (1231 USCF) secured first place in the U1500 Section and Ojas Deshpande of Dublin (unrated) won the U1000 Section.
