The 1st Annual Joe Yun Memorial Chess Tournament was a success. We had 94 players in attendance in Fairlawn, Ohio and we celebrated the memory of Joe Yun together with a well run tournament and classical over-the-board chess.
I would like to thank all of you who supported the event by attending, and those who supported by donating in memory of Joe Yun and all he has done not only for Progress With Chess, but for the local and national chess community. These generous donors are listed below. Progress With Chess would not be able to bring chess to kids and families in need without your support. Thank you very much.
